Its over...

I hate to make our relationship public but I have to clear the air. I tried to make things work but we just aren't seeing eye to eye. I thought I loved you I really did but now I have seen your true side. We were cool from the begining but you changed on me, you started acting different. I swear you did things just to piss me off...WHY? What did I ever do to you? And I know you been seeing other people and on top of that causing problems in their lives too, oh yeah don't act surprised I know about that to. I use to tell everyone how good you were and that everyone finds them one but thats all over now. As of this moment we are over and unless you chose to get your act together it will remain that way. Maybe you can find someone else willing to put up with your antics but not me, not anymore. Mozilla I am done with you...I've been seeing Internet Explorer again and until you go back to the way things were I will stay that way.

This video that you refuse to play is dedicated to you...John Legend says it best...I "Used to love U"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Bet ya thought I was talking about a woman huh lol. I'm back yall, took a break because of the new job and all but I'm back on the scene. Little humor to set things back in motion never hurt anyone.

Got bored at work...

Got tired of letting my skills fade away due to a lack of work so I decided to practice for a bit...what do you think? It's kind of rough and there's still much more detail missing but I probably won't get to work on it again for a while with the job change and all.

Saving it as a jpeg makes it look all jagged, on my program it looks much smoother. Not too bad is it?

Ohhhhh that sucks...

Alight, check this out...I got off from work yesterday and forgot that I needed to put some money into my checking because my monthly school payment was due. So I go to my local bank which closes at 5 p.m. Monday thru Thursday. I pulled up to the drive thru at 4:58 p.m., the green light is still lit (Which signifies the bank drive thru is open). The teller CLEARLY sees me coming up the drive thru (I was the only car) and right as I pull up to the window she drops the blinds and turns out the lights. Then I honk my horn and motion "what's the deal?" She sounds out "We're closed". 2 minutes left and she couldn't help a brother out. It would have been nice is she did all that before letting me drive up to the window since there were no cars in drive thru. I couldn't use the ATM because I got 2 accounts and one isn't accessible from the ATM. On top of that I can't use my on-line banking account because they have a 4 transactions per month limit which I already ran out. In short not being able to transfer funds to the proper account means a $10 service charge on my savings account for the bank to do it for me since the bill is paid via direct deposit. Ohhhhh that sucks...Hurmph

Don't you just love photoshop?

Well I saw something this weekend that got me SO hyped for the 3rd Spiderman film (yeah, yeah its over a year away so what Hurmph). I saw this on a message board and I must say this got my hopes up (I think I just found out what it feels like to be a Star Wars fan). Check out this image:

I must say that is a dang good chop right there, had it not been revealed to me that this was fake I would still believe this was official. I need to step my photoshop skills up to that level. Anyway here is the real Spiderman 3 picture that was revealed earlier this week:

Anyway the movie still looks pretty cool, I like the whole darker feeling to it. Oh yeah, on top of the first picture I saw a fan made this fake teaser trailer for the upcoming movie. Some people really have plenty of time on their hands...

The end of an era?

If you don't know by now I am a big Ravens fan, love the home team but the NFL is barey into the offseason and I'm not liking how things are going with my team. One of the biggest thins is Jamal Lewis possibly no longer being a Raven Shocked. Many people say he's old but at 27 he's still got some years left in him. The only reason he had a sucky season this year is because he never really got the chance to rehab his ankle. With a whole offseason with professional help I think he will be the Jamal of old and it would suck to lose our only reliable source of offense at the moment. This is the same man that carried TEAMS on his back for a living...

Literally!

The biggest thing that ticks me off is that the organization PROMISED him a new deal while he was serving his 4 month prison sentnece last offseason. I know its the NFL and promises are broken in an instant but still, this man did a bunch for our team right out of the gate. I was hoping he'd retire a Raven but that isn't looking like reality now. If he leaves the city of B-more will remember the good old times...

Good luck 31, wherever you land.

Oh yeah and there has been talks of Ray Lewis on his way out as well. Dang it, sometimes I can't stand how the NFL gets down but hey it is a business first right?

Oh well, guess that's why there's Madden...Hurmph

Would you do it?

Alright listen to this, a friend of mine found a roommate so he could rent this house from a guy we know. The roommate he found is a guy he works with, some dude that came from Africa like a year ago. The guy is cool and all but with only being here in the states a year his english isn't the greatest. Matter of fact my friend that is going to live with him said he don't even understand what he says (LOL, for some reason that reminds me of a movie but I can't think of the name...but anyway). They both asked me if I would go in on the deal thus causing rent to be more affordable. I said heck no and I will tell you why:

1). My friend is not good at keeping a job at all. Within the past 2 years he has been through 40+ jobs. No that is not a typo, I didn't mean 4 or 14 I mean 40 plus! The dude has been through just about every job in our area. That is one reason why I wouldn't go in on the deal, can't live with someone as unstable as that. Kind of made me wonder if they wanted me to go in as a security blanket should he lose the job he has now. No no, not me...not going for that.

2). I'm not big on the living with friends concept. Seen that formula crash and burn so many times and I don't feel like experiencing it first hand. Not big on seeing my friends throughout most of the day. Sometimes you really find out who people are and that can be a good thing or a bad thing.

3). Not having the choice of where I move sucks in my opinion. When I get a place i want a place that I like not one that is just a "spur of the moment". They house they are renting isn't bad but I just don't really care for it that much. You know, its just "not me".

Obviously number 1 is the biggest reason but thats just not something I planned for anyway. I've been looking at renting a townhome anyway. No offense to my friends but I got more confidence in myself then relying on others when taking on such a venture. I'm sure they will find someone to go in and split the rent 3 ways but I just can't get down with that.

All Star Dunks

If you missed the slam dunk contest yesterday then you missed out on some of the best dunks in a while. In all honesty the dunk contest was getting a little boring to me the past few years, each year had a hot dunk or two but that was it. This year though...MAN! The 2006 Slam Dunk contest consisted of:

Josh Smith, Nate Robinson, Hakim Warrick and Andre Iguodala

The battle was really between Robinson and Iguodala, and boy was it great. I loved the dunk with Iverson passing the ball to his teammate off of the back board...

What was he thinking?????

50 points...that's what!

But that didn't stop Nate Robinson...he stuck in the whole night. Dude went and got himself a little help from Spud Webb. If you missed the dunk here's a little treat even though I know its gonna be in heavy rotation on ESPN...

He's got MAD jumps for his size!

Then the first ever happened...a DUNK-OFF!!! First time in Slam Dunk history. Robinson brought some crazy stuff again even though it took him 14 tries he finally got his dunk. Would have been better if he could have nailed it on the 2nd or 3rd try but you could tell the man was getting tired. The Super Bowl refs must have been in attendance because despite Robinson's dunk Iguolada was going to win but one of the judges took down a 10 and put up a 9 thus making Robinson the 2006 champion.

I don't know about jumping over Spud but I MIGHT be able to jump over Robinson's kid lol...

If you missed out on the dunks go to the link below to catch a recap.

2006 All Star Dunks recap (click recap on the NBA page)

*SIDE NOTE*
Is anyone else tired of seeing T.O.? Does he want to play in the NBA now?He might have been chillin' with Shaq but I bet he'd have Shaq BEGGING for Kobe after about 5 minutes in the same uniform.

(Charles Barkley said he didn't know Shaq and T.O. went to the same church...LOL that had me rollin')

Hypocrite

Wow man, just wow. How could I be so stupid? I'm ashamed of myself on so many levels it's not even funny. Earlier in the week I spoke out on a topic in regards to the use of a seemingly disgusting word; a word that I said I hated and never used out loud...not even realizing that same exact word was in my signature. You can probably imagine someone saw that and called me out on it. I can't even respond man, I'm in the wrong. How can I speak on not liking something when it's in my possession? Just because the word was discussed on a different medium doesn't make my usage of it any better. I found this image a while back and I thought it was funny not even paying attention to everything it said. The poster didn't call me a hypocrite, I'm calling myself one. Actions speak louder than words and my signature pretty much discredited anything I said in opposition to the word. Dang I feel low, I shouldn't be beating myself up as much as I am but I can't believe I set myself up like that. Talk about a reality check...
